I love movies that are fun and have happy endings, like "Sleepless in Seattle." Actually, I probably like anything with Meg Ryan starring, so I guess they are old movies in TV reruns!
My favorite genre of music: Rock from the '80s
I enjoy the Rock and Roll tunes from the '80s, especially Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, "I Love Rock and Roll." Those songs are great for workout music, especially "YMCA."
My favorite book genre: Women's Fiction
My guilty pleasure genre: Following baseball all season long
Wow! That really takes away time from everything else. In September, everything really heats up, especially this year when so many teams are vying for the second wild card in each league!

Your favorite movies ended up being my guilty pleasure. And you enjoy baseball - no guilt in that!
Thanks for participating in my blogfest, Monti.
Thanks, Jeremy, for your visit!
Thanks for having the blogfest, Alex. The baseball guilt is that it drains away my time, but I love it!!!
Monti, mine WIP is too! My boy and girl don't meet until the very end.
I'll tell you, I've had some beta readers who really didn't like that I made them wait until the end of the book to get my hero and heroine together. Have you had the same issue?
I'm actually stating in my query letter that my book is Sleepless in Seattle meets Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments Series so agents are aware that boy meets girl at the END of the book. It's a tough sell!
Sleepless in Seattle is such a great movie. Great lists!
Emily, my book is more traditional. Good luck with your project!
Sherry, thanks for the visit!
Mercy, I don't know how you kids do these blogfests - I love the idea, but can't keep up with it!
I really like Women's Fiction, too. Some of my fav authors are Anne Tyler, Jodi Picoult, and Laura Castoro.
Like so many others doing the blogfest,I found it really hard to choose just one favorite in any of the categories.
Thanks for visiting, Dani. I don't have time for this, but it can be fun.
Thanks for stopping by, Maryann. If nothing else, this made me think!
Lots of Rom-com fans standing up to be counted today.
My guilt over baseball this year is that I'm faltering in my enthusiasm coming down the stretch. You'll understand when I tell you I'm a Red Sox fan. It's been a hard year.
Hey! Nice to meet you through the favorite genre blogfest! I enjoyed reading your answers.
I grew up watching baseball with my daddy, so yay! baseball:)
I'm a new follower, saying hello:)
Fun picks!
Another fan of sleepless in seattle and meg ryan!
Thanks, L.D. Sorry about your Sox. They really dumped a lot of players. Sad!
Thanks, Ink, for stopping by, commenting, and following!
I listened to baseball games with my grandmother!
Thanks for visiting, Donna and Siv Maria!
Sleepless is pretty popular!
Hey Monti,
Love your music choices and am *very* impressed with your guilty pleasure... unless you are an O's, A's or Rangers fan :)
GO ANGELS... please?
Romantic comedies are just fabulous. I love how they make you feel all happy afterwards.
Mark, thanks for your comment. I'm a Cardinals fan, so you can imagine how I feel about the Angels right now and that, of course, is because of Albert Pujols! We do agree on music, which is good!!!
Thanks for visiting, Murees. Love rom-coms!
80's rock, well, rocks! Good choices.
Thanks for stopping by!
My Genre Favorites & Guilty Pleasures
Hello, Mary. I loved seeing baseball mentioned on this blogfest list, so I had to stop by. Sadly, I'm a CUBS fan, so we can't even spell "playoffs". *laughs then weeps* ;)
I write horror, but adore my Rom Coms and 80's rock. Great list!
Great to meet you! *waves*
