"J" is for Joyful Heart #atozchallenge

"J" is for Joyful Heart in the 2016 A to Z Blog Challenge. This is Day 10 and my "So Many Hearts Dancing in the Air" canvas is growing ever fuller.

With many sad-sounding songs written and performed such as the "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus, it is refreshing to consider a Joyful Heart. Has anyone every written a song titled "Joyful Heart"? I don't recall it. Perhaps a church hymn? However, watching the youtube "Achy Breaky Heart", it is obvious that joyful hearts were abundant during that performance.

When you are listening to popular music, do you prefer sad songs or joyful ones? Which are the more memorable?

Love this! You have captured the heart as if it is expanding due to joy. I believe there are songs from musicals that sing of a joyful heart but I can't think of one at the moment......oh wait! "I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love with a wonderful guy!" It may not have the term joyful heart in there but she is happy and I believe it comes from South Pacific. As for listening...it depends on my mood:)

Thanks, Birgit! I do like the Achy Breaky Heart song even though it is not a happy thought!

That's a happy heart.
I prefer upbeat music - fast tempo and crunchy.
