Albert Pujols bats in Jupiter |
For baseball fans, this should be the most exciting time of year. So much hope lies with the teams. The potential is there among enthusiastic players who may or may not make the final cut. Fans are close to the players. They can talk, get autographs, and take hundreds of photos as they wander from one practice field to another.
The Passenger to Paradise looks forward to her journey to Jupiter each spring to see the St. Louis Cardinals. There's no time better than spring training when hope reigns supreme!

I've never heard of Jupiter, FL. My dad used to be an avid Milwaukee Braves fan when they were still the Braves. I vicariously "watched" many a baseball game on the radio. And then there was the year they made it to the World Series...I was in 5th grade...unforgettable because we got out of school to watch the games. But I do not remember who won!

Sounds like fun, being able to go and watch spring practice. My husband and son went to a baseball game yesterday, so my son got to miss half a day of school. The team lost, but they had a fun father/son day.
Thanks, Sharon. I never heard of Jupiter until we started going to spring training. Loved listening to games years ago. Now I watch all of them on satellite TV.
Nice, Susanne that you let your son have that fun opportunity! They make memories forever!
Go Cards! Hi Monti ... you have wonderful blog ideas, this post included! Have a good week.
Thanks, Daisy for your comment.
Yay for Jupiter and Spring :) I've not heard of Jupiter in Florida before...and thanks for sharing the fun!
Following you from A-Z challenge!
I am not a big baseball fan, but I think it would be very exciting to have two teams in town practicing. Have fun and catch some flyballs! Stopping by from AtoZ.
Are you down there having the time of your life, Monti?
Thanks, Ju, Sheila, and Alex for your comments. I'm not there now. The regular season started just over a week ago and the frustrations have begun. We went to Jupiter in March. It's wonderful then when most of the teams have hope for a great season.
