"Tasmanian Devil" acrylic painting Mary Montague Sikes |
Challenge A to Z
Today's painting is a Tasmanian Devil created from photos taken by my daughter, Amy, on a trip to Tasmania. This is 14 x 11 acrylic on stretched canvas.
Hope everyone is enjoying the Blog Challenge. I'm painting this at the end of an art workshop day.

I want to go to Tasmania. I don't really know why we haven't yet. Maybe this year. Another wonderful painting.

Adorable! You really captured the cute personality of the Devil.
Rhonda, you should definitely go to Tasmania! It's a magical place. Though a lot of it was ravaged by wildfires this past summer (January there).
Oh, how cute! He looks way too sweet to be a devil. I just want to pick him up and cuddle him. :)
He looks like he's smiling!
Thanks, Rhonda. The long plane trip deters me.
Amy, thanks. I know you especially love the Tasmanian Devils!
Julie, I would love to see one of them in person!
Alex, maybe he is! Thanks for visiting!
