"Heavenly, Spirit Visions" ©Mary Montague Sikes |
Heavenly
Heavenly colors spread across the sky.
Pale shades slide over slick papers
And unexpected images appear.
Apparitions cry out from the magic.
A glimmer of spirit vision floats by.
Papers flutter and turn.
Thunder rumbles and cracks.
And a stately angel takes wing.
A God-like image transforms,
And a friendship angel is born
To hear the beat of my heart
And the fear lying unstable there.
Morning thunder dredges bright reflections
That only my spirit can see.
Beauty is a passing flame
That vanishes in heavenly light.

That is Heavenly. The shape in the left corner looks like a man lifting his hand in praise.
Hi Monti - Heavenly colours. Beauty is a passing flame that vanishes into the mind of the beholder ... cheers Hilary

The figure just appeared, Diane, and made this the perfect piece for "heavenly". Thank you for noticing.
Heavenly and beauty--so much to ponder, Hilary.
I love that colour too! It's so pretty to use and looks good with all colours. I see the angel and the colours one can see in the skies at times.
