Joyous
As I stroll through the sunset forest
Warm sunlight baths my face.
Joyous circles rise toward the blazing sky.
Surrounded by a sea of red, the air glistens.
The perfumed scent of roses encircles me,
And I smile into the dancing breeze.
Enchanted, I remember the fairy gardens
Where astonishing creatures hide.
Magic thrives among the trees.
I am sure of that.
Trees know a lot,
But they keep their secrets well.
Where are the fairies? I wonder.
They bring their joy with them
As they skip among tree trunks
And waltz into my heart.

I like the first one best for joyous. The lines give it a vibrant feel.
This is tough but I go for the 2nd one because of the oranges are more inThis painting and I think of orange as Joy. The first one makes me think of passion. I love your poem with the fairies....
Thank you, Diane and Birgit. This is why I couldn't choose!
