"P" is for Purity - #A to Z Blogging Challenge

"P" is for Purity in today's A to Z Blogging Challenge. When I see the word, Purity, I think of good things, of pure visions, of a clear spirit. White is the perfect color, but that is difficult to use and make an impact on the Internet. This little "Spirit Visions" painting, 4" x 6", is a good one for purity, I think. White is the feeling I get from studying the image.

Purity

A rush of love, a flood of humor,
The hillside trembles beneath the touch
Of a forbidden journey.
The pure are not lost here.

A flower grows, a tree dies.
We look into the sky and see a star.
A rose is born, the clouds are green.
The pure are not lost here.

An elephant trunk sweeps through the air.
Snowflakes flutter and fly.
A little boy cries out.
The pure are not lost here.

A shining light beams from afar.
Blurred lines glide over straight.
In the white, words cry out.
The pure are not lost here.

I think using a light blue is the next best thing plus there is plenty of white in This painting. To me, I see a man reading to swim in the water almost like a cleansing. Your poem capture the spirit of purity

That was lovely. When I was younger I always liked that my first name meant pure. I always thought of it as being really clear, perhaps with some sort of light shining through.
